Private Advisory for Life Transitions and Complex Decisions

Private Advisory for Life Transitions
and Complex Decisions

Understand what’s keeping you stuck — and move forward with greater clarity.

Michael Davitt Advisory

I work with thoughtful adults who feel stuck in recurring patterns in relationships, work, confidence or major life decisions.

Through calm, confidential one-to-one conversations, I help you understand what is going on, make clearer decisions and move forward with greater self-trust.

Many people reach a point where life still appears to be working, but no longer feels right inside.

There may be uncertainty, exhaustion, self-doubt, emotional pressure, or a quiet sense that something important needs attention.

My work offers a calm, confidential space to step back, make sense of what is happening, and find a clearer way forward.

Who I work with

I work with thoughtful adults navigating transition, uncertainty or recurring patterns they do not fully understand.

This may involve:

  • relationship difficulties or separation

  • career uncertainty or loss of direction

  • burnout or sustained pressure

  • self-doubt or overthinking

  • people-pleasing or difficulty setting boundaries

  • feeling disconnected from yourself or your own needs

Many clients are intelligent, responsible and outwardly capable, but privately sense that something important needs to change.

The work is calm, confidential and practical: we clarify what is happening, explore what may be driving it, and identify grounded next steps.

Most people try to think their way out of these situations — and end up going in circles.

My role is to help you step back, see the situation more clearly, and work out what a more honest and constructive way forward might look like.

The aim is not to analyse everything endlessly, but to reach a point where things make sense — and you can act.

Often, the first step is not more advice, but clearer understanding of what is actually going on. I focus on helping you see the patterns that are shaping your situation — often more quickly and clearly than you can on your own.

Private 1:1 Sessions

These are confidential one-to-one conversations focused on helping you understand your situation more clearly, explore what may be shaping it, and identify practical next steps.

Sessions are usually held online and are calm, structured and conversational.

We may explore recurring patterns, confidence, relationships, work, identity, decision-making, boundaries or major life transitions.

This is coaching and advisory work, not therapy, healthcare or emergency support. It is designed to help you think more clearly, understand yourself better and move forward in a practical way.

What happens in a session?

We begin with what feels most important now.

From there, we explore the patterns, pressures, assumptions or conflicts that may be shaping your situation.

The aim is not endless analysis. The aim is clearer understanding, stronger self-trust and practical next steps.

Where useful, I may use reflective questions, visual frameworks, metaphor, journalling prompts or carefully guided AI-supported reflection between sessions.
